This money would be used to help replace the current township hall, fire station and police substation in the township. The current facility (built in 1951) no longer meets modern needs and is functionally obsolete, particularly emergency response needs. This is an appropriate use of taxpayer funds as it promotes public safety and emergency response needs, fulfilling a core function of government.
