- The non-profit Kalasho Education and Youth Services provides a robust fully-integrated service model supporting whole families throughout SE Michigan. The Kalasho Education and Youth Services MINDgarden program addresses the critical behavioral health crisis affecting Michigan’s school-aged children through evidence-based applied behavior analysis and intensive therapeutic interventions. The center employs advanced innovative behavioral health therapies including ABA, music therapy, equine therapy, culinary arts, and sensory therapeutic methods to treat autism, trauma, anxiety, and mild-moderate depression. These specialized services are complemented by family-centered wraparound supports including education coordination, job training, food security, transportation, healthcare navigation, and legal aid to ensure comprehensive care for children and their families. MINDgarden currently serves school-aged children from various schools throughout Southeast Michigan with plans to expand these centers to other communities across the state.
