The purpose of the legislative directed spending item is to fund the installation of new water mains along the following corridors: N. Elton Street from W. Main Street to Madison Street; Madison Street from N. Elton Street to N. Macomb Street; and E. Main Street from Wolverine Street to Hibbard Street. This projects public benefit will replace aging infrastructure, improve system reliability, and ensure the continued delivery of safe, potable water to residents and businesses.
