What is the purpose and how does the legislatively directed spending item provide a public benefit that is an appropriate use of taxpayer money?This money will be used to support the CCF's educational program for individuals inside and outside the district. Some of these items they help with are early childhood literacy, preschool care, GED programs, English language proficiency courses, and workforce development. These are all programs the state of Michigan has targeted at improving and helping get more individuals trained and in the workforce. Providing this funding so the CCF can continue to do all of these unique services for the community is essential. Note: This was cut with the FY 25 work projects
