  The Arab American Civil Rights League (ACRL) is seeking a $1,000,000 to expand its advocacy in protecting, educating, and safeguarding the community. By leveraging its experienced team and Board, along with its strong partnerships within the community, ACRL continues to make significant strides for Arab Americans in the state of Michigan. The grant funds will be used to hire additional staff and support key projects that will enhance its efforts. These projects include educating law enforcement on sensitivity, and cultural diversity; collaborating with corporations and community business advocacy groups to address civil rights challenges in their fields; and working with government entities to ensure policies and procedures do not unfairly impact Arab American rights.
