Full Time Positions

  • Painter
    Under the direction of the Director of the Senate Business Office and supervised by the Senate Physical Properties Manager, the Painter performs various painting, finishing and redecoration projects, as assigned. Work requires considerable knowledge of the skillful use of hand and power tools. The Painter performs a full range of painting assignments using independent judgment and knowledge of painting, finishing, and wallpapering to make decisions requiring the application of procedures and practices specific to work duties.

  • Senator Hollier - Chief of Staff
    Under the direction of the Senate Member, the Chief of Staff directs, coordinates, and supervises all operations of the Senate Member’s office, including oversight of staff and budgets, legislative initiatives, constituent casework, scheduling, and daily activities. The Chief of Staff reports directly to the Senate Member and serves as the Senate Member’s chief administrative officer and advisor for all legislative matters. The Chief of Staff is the primary point of contact for the Senate Member’s office.

  • Senator LaSata - Legislative/Communications Assistant
    Assistant oversees the Senate Member’s schedule, coordinates office attendance at Lansing and district events, and assists with drafting office communications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering incoming phone calls and addressing questions from constituents; drafting newsletters and other correspondence; and attending meetings on behalf of the Senate Member. This position will work primarily in the Lansing office but will be expected to work in district as needed.

  • Senator Victory - Office Administrator & Scheduler
    Under the Direction of the Senate Member and Chief of Staff, the Office Administrator greets visitors, answers incoming phone call, distributes mail, maintains office supplies and materials, schedules and coordinates meetings and Lansing based events and activities. The Office Administrator also drafts correspondences with constituents and performs other special projects as assigned.

  • Senator Bumstead - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Chang - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Daley - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Geiss - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
  • Senator Hertel - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.

  • Senator MacDonald - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondence, and conducting legislative research.
  • Senator Runestad - Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.
