Harold S. is greeted by Senate Majority Leader Michael D. Bishop, R-Rochester, who helped build a wheelchair-accessible ramp at his Rochester Hills home as part of the Michigan Mobility & Accessibility Partnership. Sponsored by Comcast, the partnership is a bipartisan effort made up of elected officials, disability advocates and local volunteers. The Michigan Mobility & Accessibility Partnership recently constructed a wheelchair-accessible ramp at the home of Harold S. Thanks to the group’s dedicated volunteers, the Rochester Hills man has greater independence. Senate Majority Leader Michael D. Bishop, R-Rochester, joined with Comcast Vice President of Engineering Dale Kirk, employees and volunteers to build the ramp. (8/31/2009)
