Senator Gerald Van Woerkom
Gerald Van Woerkom served for 28 years as a teacher and administrator in the field of Christian education, retiring in June of 1997. He won election to the State House of Representatives in 1998 and in 2000. In 2002, Jerry was elected to the State Senate and re-elected in 2006.
