Gary L. Shepherd of Hemlock, community booster and longtime United Auto Workers International representative for Region 1-D, is congratulated by state Sen. Roger Kahn, M.D., R-32nd District, for 33 years of service to Saginaw Steering Gear, the UAW and the local community. Kahn presented him with a state tribute at a retirement gathering.
