Committee on Campaign & Election Oversight
The Senate Committee on Campaign & Election Oversight was formed in 2007 with a
mission to seek responsible reforms that will maintain the integrity of elected
office in Michigan. As the chair, I am excited to be working on issues that are
so vital to our democratic process.
The issues we are addressing deserve our attention and careful study. It is
important we gather a wide range of viewpoints, from elected officials, voters,
interest groups and other stakeholders. I hope to gather feedback from people
across the state, using the most recent election as a launching point. Our goal
is to find out what is - and what is not - working in Michigan from the people
who know best, the voters of our great state.
