  • Democratic Central Staff - Press Secretary
    The Press Secretary manages and coordinates activities, including media contacts, for the Michigan Senate Democratic Caucus Members. As the official spokesperson representing the caucus, (s)he acts as the media liaison between press and legislative members, and plays a key role in strategically generating communication and outreach of top issues.

    The Michigan Legislature is seeking talented software developers to join a team that will build a new and exciting legislative information system to be used by the House of Representatives, Senate, and Legislative Service Bureau. You will be part of a collaborative team to help shape the way the product is built utilizing the latest technology and development tools.

  • Senator Conyers - PART TIME EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
    The Office of State Senator Ian Conyers is seeking to fill the position of a Part-time Executive Assistant. The 4th State Senate District includes Detroit, Allen Park, Southgate and Lincoln Park.

Intern Positions

  • Senator Ananich - Intern
    Interns will assist Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich (D-Flint) and staff with legislation, communications, constituent services, and general office operations.
  • Senator Casperson - Intern
    This is a part-time, non-paid, internship for Senator Tom Casperson.
  • Senator Colbeck - Intern
    The office of Senator Colbeck is seeking an intern for this semester.
  • Senator Conyers - Intern
    Interns will assist Senator Ian Conyers (D- Detroit, Lincoln Park, Allen Park, and Southgate) and staff with legislation, communications, constituent services and general office operations.
  • Senator Green - Intern
    The Office of State Senator Mike Green (R – District 31) is seeking interns to serve in their Lansing Office.
  • Senator Hansen - Intern
    The office of Senator Goeff Hansen is currently looking to fill internship positions for the Fall, Winter and Spring semesters.
  • Senator Hopgood - Summer 2017 Intern
    The individual will provide assistance to the Senator and staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management. Some responsibilities will include: monitoring legislation, preparing written correspondences, and conducting legislative research.

    This individual will provide assistance to senate staff ranging in the areas of legislation, communications, constituent affairs, and general office management.

    The office of Senator Peter MacGregor is currently looking to fill internship positions for the Fall semester.
