MESSAGES FROM THE SENATEHB 5122 (Kandrevas) HB 5122 would exempt service club and religious sign structures less than eight square feet in area from regulations and restrictions on highway billboards. The bill also bans animated signs, unless the signs change below a certain speed and have limited luminescence, revises renewal fees and penalties for late renewal, places caps on the aggregate revenue collected from these, and revises regulations on cutting down vegetation blocking signs.

HB 4410 (Sheltrown) HB 4410 would authorize an alternative public high school “general diploma” with reduced curriculum requirements from those required under a 2006 law establishing minimum statewide standards, and authorize up to 15 high school “specialty schools” with even lower requirements, subject to certain additional performance standards.
HB 5275 (Lisa Brown) HB 5275 would authorize a four-year, $100 million subsidy for a manufacturer of “large scale power systems designed to convert variable renewable power into firm dispatchable power”.
