MESSAGES FROM THE SENATEHB 4930 (Segal) Duncan Aviation: House Bill 4930 (H-1) would amend the General Sales Tax Act to revise tax exemptions for the sale of aircraft that are temporarily in this State, by deleting language that limits the exemptions to used aircraft.
FINAL PASSAGEHB 4161 (LeBlanc) The bill would allow pharmacists to fill a prescription for a controlled substance prescribed by any out-of-state physician under the same conditions that they can now fill prescriptions for controlled substances prescribed by physicians in Illinois, Minnesota, and the border areas of adjoining states.
HB 4828 (Polidori) House Bill 4828 would amend the Michigan Penal Code. Currently, it is illegal to manufacture, sell, offer for sale, or possess numerous dangerous objects, including machine guns, silencers, bombs, blackjacks, and metallic knuckles. The bill would strike the word "metallic," and refer only to "knuckles." The term would be defined to mean a device worn over the knuckles on the back of the hand or fitted over the fingers to increase the impact of a blow with the fist.
