LANSING- Senate Democratic Floor Leader Buzz Thomas (Detroit) and Senator Gilda Z. Jacobs (D-Huntington Woods) will discuss Michigan’s tax structure and how it affects state revenues and funding for state and local services at a town hall meeting tonight. The meeting will include a PowerPoint presentation and time for questions from the public. The event is free of charge.

Senator Thomas, a member of the Senate Democratic Leadership Team, and Senator Jacobs, Minority Vice Chair of the Senate Committee on Finance, want public input on decisions being made in Lansing that directly affect citizens’ pocketbooks.
