LANSING -Sen. Irma Clark-Coleman (D-Dearborn) today praised Gov. Jennifer Granholms announcement of accelerating 10 years of projected road construction into three years. The work program will include northbound and southbound deck replacement under M-153 in Wayne County. I am delighted at the decision to expedite these projects, Sen. Clark-Coleman said. Not only are we undertaking much needed infrastructure improvements but we are creating jobs needed to get them done. Its another step toward our states economic recovery. The road project acceleration, which was announced during the Governors State of the State address, is a part of the Jobs Today program intended to create jobs and strengthen the states infrastructure. # # # State Sen.
