| “I am extremely pleased that Gov. Granholm has chosen to invest in Michigan’s future by refusing to slash school funding in the middle of the school year. Many of our schools have already developed their financial plans and reducing their funding would be catastrophic. “I am equally delighted the Governor will spare our most vulnerable citizens from further cuts to service and the degradation that a lack of resources creates. She has demonstrated she cares about our senior citizens, our children and those who are less fortunate. She has made the right choices, in the right moment for the people of Michigan.” #### |
